Volunteer Spotlight: Attorney Thomas Schneck, Immigration Legal Services

Attorney Thomas Scneck

Attorney Thomas Schneck volunteers his time providing legal screenings and consultation assistance to Catholic Charities clients in need. He comes weekly to volunteer as part of our community services markets at Our Lady of Refuge Parish and St. Leo Parish, which are open to all who seek food and groceries.

By providing free legal screenings and consultation assistance, Thomas (Tom) Schneck helps to ensure that individuals from low-income backgrounds have access to justice. This eliminates

financial barriers that may otherwise prevent vulnerable populations from seeking legal assistance. He offers holistic support by connecting clients with additional resources and services, such as social support networks, mental health resources, or community organizations, to address various needs beyond legal matters.

Tom prioritizes serving vulnerable populations, such as immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers, who may face unique challenges and barriers to accessing legal services. He serves as a role model within the community, inspiring others to get involved and make a difference through volunteerism and service. His work plays a critical role in promoting fairness, equality, and justice for all members of the community, particularly those who are most marginalized and in need of support. Thank you, Tom!
