Welcome to Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County. If you have come to this page looking for information regarding the current refugee crisis from Afghanistan, resources for newcomers, or ways in which to get involved and lend your support during this crisis, please read on for a list of our current program offerings.
Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County is dedicated to building a just and compassionate community for all, including protections and resources for children, adults, and families seeking asylum and resettling into our Bay Area community. With the harrowing news from Afghanistan, our agency is doing all that we can to address the increased need to serve newly arriving refugees, and to support our local community partners.
Read below to learn the three main ways we are currently serving the Afghan refugee community.
Please note that the situation is still developing, and the news, and resulting implications for the Bay Area, continue to change. We are monitoring the situation closely, and information regarding our program offerings is subject to change.
Thank you to our local businesses for
their support of our Afghan Refugees!
