Who We Are
Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County serves and advocates for individuals and families in need, especially those living in poverty. Rooted in gospel values, we work to create a more just and compassionate community where people of all cultures and beliefs can participate and prosper.
Program Overview
Our goal is to provide appropriate and responsive case management services to asylees and vulnerable noncitizens for up to 90 days within the first year following the grant of asylum or noncitizens deemed eligible for services.
Who Qualifies?
Recently granted asylees, individuals who have filed petitions for T-Visa, U-Visa, SIJs, and those that have been granted U-Visa and T-Visa status.
Free Referral Services Provided
BENEFITS APPLICATION ASSISTANCE
Medi-Cal, CalFresh, CalWorks, and other eligible programs.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT
Finding language resources for individuals hoping to learn English.
CULTURAL ORIENTATION
Education is provided to U.S. newcomers to help them acquire the knowledge, skill, and attitudes needed for early resettlement.
GENERAL CASE MANAGEMENT
Provide resource navigation and assistance in identifying resources.
EMPLOYMENT TRAINING/ JOB PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE
Provide guidance navigation local and government workforce agencies.
IMMIGRATION LEGAL SCREENINGS
We will connect you to legal providers to screen you for immigration remedies.
