About Saturday Night Lights

The Saturday Night Lights (SNL) program is a sports-based youth development initiative that creates safe, welcoming spaces for young people to connect, play, and grow.

By bringing communities together through sports and recreation, SNL fosters trust among key partners and provides meaningful opportunities for youth to stay active and engaged.

The program aims to introduce Saturday Night Lights to the local community, creating an immediate positive impact while building momentum for future expansion.

Inspired by New York’s successful model (now at 140 sites operating nearly year-round), this pilot will be adapted to meet local needs.

The program will serve as a foundation to demonstrate its value and secure long-term support for growth.
